We have been asked to sing Lift Every Voice and Sing for the opening of the ML King Legacy Concert on Jan. 15 at the Knight Theatre on S. Tryon St. at 7:30pm. We will present the Roland Carter arrangement.

And, if you often wonder how music ministers seem to match the music so close to the preachers sermon, then you should plan to attend the Hymns, Homiletics & Spirituals Conference to be held at Mayfield Memorial Missionary Baptist Church on Sugar Creek Rd in Charlotte, NC, on Feb 17-19. If you plan to participate in the full conference, the registration fee is $75 which includes music, meals & classes.

CCE has been asked to be the guest choir on Sunday, Feb 19 at 11:00am, rendering the anthem(s) and spirituals, along with any other service music.

Date change.  The Fall concert is now scheduled for December 4, 2011, at Myers Park Baptist Church, Charlotte, NC.  The concert is scheduled for 5:30 pm and is headed for a sell out.  Plan to get your tickets early by contacting any CCE member, accessing the website for Will Call, or ordering via PayPal which will be added to the website by November 6, 2011.  You may also email stovalldds@aol.com in the meantime.
